Spotlight

Grace was doing a cute little dance to the live band in the park and then...

The Bully

...the bully had to step in and take over the show with physical abuse!

Ten Seconds

So we had this Happy Meal toy from "American Idol" and it played this 10-second tune and the kids liked it so much we gave them each 10 seconds to perform their best dance. This is what Tread came up with. He is SOOOOO not shy!

Julia Davis Centennial

We packed a picnic and spent a day in Julia Davis park with the kids. There were lots of things going on for the Centennial celebration and the kids loved the paddle boats! (That's because they weren't doing the paddling!) It was a beautiful day and it was nice to take our time and enjoy the nice weather.

Hungarian Dance

This was one of the songs that Audrey performed for her recital. A little nervous hiccup but she does great and she does it ALL on her own! We are proud of her.

Slumber Party

Savannah & Megan came and spent the night during their stay. This is cute little Megan in her nightgown. All the girls wore their matching nightgowns that they got for Christmas.
Ava Claire catching some major air with Grace. (Doesn't take much!)
Tread was giving everyone hugs and squeezed Savannah a little too tightly!
Audrey and Chase took turns giving "rides" in the backyard on their motorcycles. They had great fun. (Don't worry Uncle Brett, the rides were heavily supervised!)

Dairy Days

Amber got to come home and play for the week and besides Grace's birthday part we all got to go enjoy Meridian Dairy Days. The kids kept moving further and further into the street to see what was coming next and caught loads of goodies! They even got a pint of chocolate milk. Grandma, Kathy and Kaitlin came along for the ride too!
This is how we kept them quiet!
A local band was playing and the kids had fun dancing!

We are so glad the cousins came to visit! It was a great week!

Happy Father's Day!

So for Father's Day in Primary, we had the kids make these great ties for their dads! I needed help getting all the supplies organized and Amber and Kathy dove right in! We had fun thinking of "sayings" for our silly ties. We set up tables in the Primary room to make the kids wonder what was going to happen and they had a BLAST making them. Thanks for the help guys!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!

Grace was so excited for her birthday she was singing "Happy Birthday to Me!"
We had a "Summertime" theme to prepare for what lie ahead...
We were sure to have lots of balloons because that is one of Grace's favorite things!
This was actually a Winnie the Pooh cake without the Pooh!
It took a few trys but eventually she got them all out!

Karaoke

We had a little Karaoke going on but Tread didn't want to give up the spotlight!

Princess

Grandpa Rick and Becky sent this to Audrey for her birthday. It was a big hit and definately fits this girls personality!

Double Drop Raceway

My kids played on one of these slides at a soccer party and literally cried when they had to leave. After finding out the rental of a slide was as much as the purchase of one, we went ahead and invested. It was a lot of fun and we were voted by the neighborhood girls as having "the best birthday party ever!"

Bonzai!

This slide was so much fun! Definately the hit of the party. Who knows, maybe I'll give it a try...

Pinata Time!

As if we weren't already sugared up enough!

Little Miss Spider Goes to Dinner

I apologize for this disgusting photo and could barely get myself to post it. I hope you weren't having a snack when it popped up on your screen! This is what I found when I went to open the blinds and Ryan insisted we get a picture of it. This spider is eating this fly! So gross! If you are able to blow up the picture, you can see the spider's eyes and the fly's hairy legs! OHHHH! YUK!
