Scout's Honor

Chase just received his Bobcat award for Scouts. When I told him I was going to kiss him after he received his award he was very adamant that there were to be NO public displays of affection!

When I Grow Up...

Tread decided to put on the safety goggles and help Dad cut flagstone for a walkway. He came in to show me his "gear" and his hammer. Unfortunately he ended up hammering the flagstone and doing more damage than good!

Sleeping Beauty

After getting home from church, everyone was changing their clothes and I started dinner. It was so quiet, we knew Grace was into trouble. On the search for her, we found she had entered the mudroom, emptied all the shelves and then crashed on top of her mess. What a girl!

Tree Tackle

This is what happens when you play football with no helmet. Chase can have up to a dozen boys in our backyard playing football and has decided it is his sport of choice. A kid tripped and fell on Chase and in turn, Chase tripped and landed head first into a tree. It was swollen shut and completely purple the next morning. Most of our friends and neighbors informed us there were better ways of discipline. What a shiner!
